Social Science and the Humanities is a basic
introduction to the two areas of study. The first
chapter provides an introduction to social science
and humanities subjects, followed by chapters
focused on philosophy and ethics, human impacts
on the environment, economics, development and
public health. Basic introductions to people, events
and eras from history, and to political ideas and
theories are woven through these chapters.
